Individuals from a neighborhood vigilante bunch in Bauchi generally called ‘Yan Komiti’ were purportedly assaulted and continued different levels of wounds after presumed hooligans called ‘Yan sara suka’ who raged Kofar Dumi quarters of Bauchi city with weapons.
Vehicles as well, Vanguard assembled, were not saved as the vigilante’s hilux van and a vehicle having a place with a Jumm’at mosque were totally torched by the hooligans at the end of the week.
The episode was affirmed by the state financier of the council, Mahmood Isah Dalhatu while talking with writers in Bauchi.
He added that the hooligans likewise attacked the place of their state administrator and set his vehicle ablaze when they couldn’t execute him, noticing that the lowlifes were on a retaliation mission.
Validating the Vigilante’s case, the Bauchi State Police Command affirmed the episode expressing that six individuals from the Yan Komiti were harmed simultaneously while their Hilux van and another having a place with a Jummaat mosque in the zone was likewise scorched.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmed Wakili said there was an assault on the workplace of Yan Komiti in Kofar Dumi.
“The DPO of ‘A’ Division revealed that on fourteenth of November, 2020 at about 1300hrs that some hooligans numbering more than 20 assaulted the workplace for a situation of illegal conflagration. A group of cops raced to the scene and emptied the casualties to ATBUTH where they were dealt with and have been released. A portion of the suspects had a privately made dane weapons which was recuperated from the scene.
