A 40yrs old man has killed himself and his lover over marriage proposal.
Realities arose on Sunday that a moderately aged man, Nicodemus Nomyange, who set himself and his sweetheart, Shininenge Pam, on fire did as such over the last’s refusal to wed him.
Nomyange had on Saturday night visited his sweetheart’s home on Inikpi Street, in the High-Level territory of Makurdi, with a gallon of fuel, which he used to set the condo ablaze.
The two darlings passed on in the fiery blaze.
Reports assembled that Nomyange, who was in his 40s, had been going out with the lady for quite a while.

Pam’s neighbor, who distinguished herself as Dorry, stated, “Nomyange was hitched with kids. Be that as it may, he proposed to the youngster, whom he professed to have put resources into.
“Yet, the woman, having looked for exhortation from her companions, revealed to him that he was excessively old for her and that she wanted to wed a more youthful man and not a man as of now with spouse and kids.”
The woman’s choice, as indicated by the neighbor, rankled Nomyange.
“It was the one who leased this condo for her and outfitted it to taste.
“No one expected what happened in light of the fact that the man didn’t give any indication of outrage. Yet, yesterday (Saturday) around 6.30pm, we saw him with a barrel of fuel which we thought was to be utilized for their generator. As he went into the woman’s home, they secured themselves,” she added.
The neighbor said occupants out of nowhere saw fire emerging from the condo, adding that endeavors to extinguish the fire were not effective.
At the time firemen visited the spot, the two darlings were accounted for to have kicked the bucket in the fiery blaze.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Catherine Anene, said observers told the police that they saw the man with fuel and they accepted that he needed to utilize it for the generator.
“We heard that the man and the woman had been having misconception before the pitiful episode,” she added.
Anene said examination was progressing to disentangle the genuine reason for the occurrence.
